I'm Alida, founder of the Hair Braiding Academy of Canada, the first program in the country dedicated to professional braiding education for textured and all hair types.

With over 30 years of braiding experience, I created this academy to address a critical gap: the lack of accessible, professional braiding services across Canada. I experienced this gap firsthand and built a solution that transforms how salons, stylists, and beauty professionals serve diverse communities.​
